The Reel Legacy
Anglers' Heritage UK is a London-based archive dedicated to the history of angling mechanics. We analyze the intricate mathematical models and mechanical designs that made the 20th-century "Big Bass" reels world-famous for their reliability and performance.
Historic Mechanics
From vintage brass reels to modern digital simulations, we preserve the technical standards of the industry for enthusiasts in London and beyond.
Digital Preservation
Our digital infrastructure utilizes Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to provide researchers with an offline-capable database of reel mechanics and catch probability tables.
PWA Access
The "Big Catch" archive is now available for mobile devices, offering high-fidelity technical overviews and historical catch data for professional angling historians.
